Before and After The missing front tooth replacement
Missing a front tooth almost always makes people feel extremely self conscious and can have serious social consequences. It is often difficult to get a good result with a denture, and dental bridges require cutting/drilling nearby teeth. Dental implants can often create an extremely natural looking replacement for the missing tooth.
Before and After The missing front tooth replacement
DT had a front tooth with a history of trauma which caused her to need root canal treatment and a crown. After several years of service, the crown fractured beyond the point of repair and the remaining tooth needed extraction. DT was distraught, but she was reassured that using a dental implant, a natural looking replacement could be provided.
Using ‘digital dentistry’, the position of implants and the artificial teeth above were able to be planned with extreme precision.
Look at DT’s new front tooth – it is almost impossible to tell which tooth is the implant.
